Would this gun be actually suitable in a game,

http://www.trademe.co.nz/sports/hunting ... 534531.htm

Is is what my dad bought as a first gun for me to practice with, it's it actually decent? Seems to go 20m+ not sure about FPS but when I shot my self straight in the leg it left a nice bruise!

Is this the sort of gun you would bring onto a battlefield or not?

I think you'll find yourself more than a little disadvantaged if you brought that out.

Haha, yeah I would hope the first times I come out next years to use the guns you have to find one I like before putting a lot of money away to some guns.

How many guns do you have there? What are they like?

All the members have their own weapons - an armory as broad as your imagination.

TAG has a number of G36 electric airsoft guns available as rentals.

Spring guns are much, much weaker than the guns we use. The guns we use are either electric or gas powered.

If you turn up to a club with this, you would be seriously outgunned. Most of our guns can accurately get up to 40m.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get my self something decent if I get into this sport next year.

I've been watching videos online and some guns really do get very far!

The G36s' are good to use when you first come out to get a good feel for the game. It also gives you a good opportunity to check out what guns the rest of us are using and see what you like the look of.

The G&G COMBAT MACHINE AEG CM16 CARBINE DST has caught my eye as it seems cheaper than others and fits your guys regulations. I'll see what you guys use when I come to play next year and decide then though.

Re: Would this gun be actually suitable in a game,

I would recommend Jing Gong G36 as a perfect new entrant starter airsoft weapon.

They are cheap ( ideal for people who have a lower budget to spend) and very reliable and accurate.
They are generally made very well and don't look cheap and nasty.

Most airsoft clubs around NZ tend to buy them for club weapons, Because they last for ages and generally have no issues.

I have no idea how you decided on these to be the only choices for "Best Gun in the Game"... And no "Other".
UH out of these probably since you don't have an option for what u really have in mind.

Hi Calvin, welcome to TAG.

Not sure who your post is directed at as this thread has had zero activity for over 2 years.

If you need advice selecting a weapon, best bet is to come out for a game on Sunday, we can show you some of the gear we're rocking.

Cheers.
