After Opinions for first loadout

Hi Guys
Just after some opinions/advise on my first gun loadout.
So I’ve had three days so far and I am loving it, and am looking at getting my first gun. I’m not too bothered on looks. I’m just after a good value starting weapon. And maybe down the track when I figure out what exactly is my jam then I’ll look at importing etc.
So from what I have seen in NZ
G&G Combat machines ($330 - $420) asgc
CA – Scar mosfet ($440) unlimitedairsoft
CA – G36c ($350) unlimitedairsoft
Also there is this trade me sale at the moment http://www.trademe.co.nz/link.aspx?r=a& ... mber_hash= Allot of stuff here – maybe a few too many guns (if you can ever have too many guns :) )
Any thoughts or opinions would be awesome, also if you have or know of anyone who is moving stuff on I could be interested.
Thanks
Nacho

Hey Nacho,

If I only had $300 to spend on a new blaster, knowing what I know now I would get this:

https://airsofttrader.co.nz/ads/ics-mp5sd6/

ICS has a decent rep and their MP5's are supposed to be among the best. This is a second hand AEG so the condition is difficult to determine but should be reasonably easy to work on anything that need attention. Otherwise the Combat Machines are perfectly fine for starting out.

I second the ICS-MP5 for the same reasons. CA AEGs are way old now. I don't know if they're good by todays standards. Haven't seen one in ages.

Max from The Arena made this useful table on MP5 magazines:

TM or ICS magazines are your only options by the looks.

Listed October 1st 2016. Several people have asked if it's still for sale with no response, so guessing the OP doesn't check the page much, or at all. Does anyone know him? I'm guessing he's sold it by now though unfortunately.

Re: After Opinions for first loadout

I don't know anything about G&G, but I do know that that's not a lot less than importing your own TM M4. This one is about $500NZD, plus shipping and any import fees.

One thing to consider is that 3 of the mags are hi-cap, which our rules don't allow. Not that this would be an issue, and we wouldn't ban you using them, would just advise that you invest in sub 100 round mags as soon as was practical. The fact it comes with batteries is a plus though, and if deemed a decent weapon, it's certainly a good priced starter set.

That AEG looks fine Nacho. G&P is decent and aftermarket parts are prolific.

If you're willing to wait a couple months for a permit, go for a Marui like the one Merlin linked. Once you are a member you can use a club gun without charge, you just need to provide your own BBs.

Re: After Opinions for first loadout

I didn't realise that about club guns, that sounds good as im in no hurry really, and I do like the TM guns.
And in the mean time I might figure out what exactly I want.
Thanks Guys.
