If i were to purchase a gun from overseas and get them to disable the full auto function do i have to get in contact with anyone about it? or would it just casually come to my house like any other parcel?
Re: issues at customs?
You shouldn't have any problems as long as the airsoft weapon has No chance of firing full auto. If the weapon doesn't fire at all it may be stopped for further testing.
Be very careful with NZ Customs, If your weapon fires full auto for some reason it will be seized. Then you have two options if this happens, 1) you can send it back to the shipper at your cost, 2) you can surrender the airsoft weapon and it will be destroyed.

it's probably best to go through the club armorer (and president)- Nematode, although he is away at present, as he will be able to make sure the right communication is made with the company re semi-ing and will be able to give you more help if it does get stopped for some reason or another

If you are going to get the G&G M4 pay the extra $ and buy off a airsoft shop here in nz .
Saves all the hassel of semi and gun getting stopped .and if it's a shiter they will fix it!

Yeah, most likely getting the G&G off the armory. was looking a ca90TR from over seas because they were alot cheaper then here. e.g. gun city (which i know over price everything) for $550.
